The following groups are affected by the criteria approved by the F Period Steering Committee:

Group F1: Bemis, Hundt, Pearson
Group F2: Bartlett, Battle, Rodger
Group F3: Feldman, Steel, Wellington
Group F4: Martin, Somarriba, Steyer

Remember that you may submit a personal project if your group is not working well. However, I would encourage you to work in your group (choosing a leader is optional). Group products are almost always of higher quality, even if they take somewhat longer to put together.

The following criteria have been approved for groups F1, F2, F3, and F4:

1. Shorten the survey
2. Ask questions that are reasonable and pertinent
3. Upper School students only
4. Dummy questions to check for pencil-whipping
5. Administer during the school’s time
6. Alter the first 30 questions to eliminate bias
7. To reduce bias on +/– questions, use a 1-4 scale with a "no opinion" option
8. Add the question: "Should this change?" (instead of a simple rating of each item)
9. Consider time of year to administer survey
10. Consider how to avoid having the survey be a surprise (steering committee agreed it should not be a surprise)
