How to Send Anonymous Feedback to Mr. Hansen
1. Use your Web browser to navigate to www.stalbansschool.org.
2. Click on “Academics,” then “Upper School,” then “Departments,” then “Mathematics,”
and finally click on my name.
3. A pop-up window should appear. Fill in the blanks as described below.
4. Your Name: Type “HappyCal student,” “STAtistics student,” “MODD student,”
etc. DO NOT TYPE YOUR NAME,
even if you want to, since that would potentially compromise anonymity for the
other students.
5. Your Email: Type a valid address that does not identify you. I recommend
using the modd.net address that I gave out at the beginning of the year. (Sorry,
I do not post the address on the Internet because of spambots, but you can
click here if you have forgotten the address.) Normally,
typing a spoofed return address would be a violation of the STA rules regarding
honesty, but I am telling you that it is OK to use my address as the return
address. That way, when I see the incoming mail, I will know that it is
anonymous feedback from one of my students.
6. Subject: Type “__HappyCal feedback” or “__STAtistics feedback,” etc. I would
like to know which class you are in, and I would also ask that you use a
leading double underscore ( __ ) in order to help the mail pass through my spam
filter.
7. Message: Type whatever you wish. Literally! Venting or praise, or a mixture
of the two. Whatever! If you could include at least one constructive comment,
that would probably make your feedback more useful to me, but again, that is
entirely up to you.
8. Type the letters in the box to prove that you are a human, not a spambot.
9. Click the “Send Email” button.
10. Thank you! Truthful feedback is always useful, and this is the best way I
have found for collecting it. I can’t discern your handwriting, and you should
feel free to type whatever you wish.
