(AP Statistics, Period E)

Th 4/1/04	HW due: Read through p. 723 and revisit your problems that were due yesterday. (Those 3 problems may be collected today.) Reminder: You may work together on HW assignments. However, outright copying is an honor code offense and will be treated as such. Also, your time log is a statement of honor and cannot be falsified.
F 4/2/04	No class today (Form VI retreat).
M 4/5/04	HW due: Read through the end of Chapter 13, as we discussed at the end of class Thursday. No additional written HW is due, but make sure your previous §13.1 problems are complete. In class: Pop quiz.
T 4/6/04	HW due: #13.15. Your reading notes from Chapter 13 will also be scanned a second time.
W 4/7/04	HW due: #13.28, 13.30.
Th 4/8/04	No class (Form VI Career Day).
F 4/9/04	Quiz on Chapter 13. (We did this as an oral quiz; everyone who was present passed.) HW due: Read through p. 760.
M 4/12/04	HW due: Read through the end of §14.1; write #14.2, 14.8, 14.9. Time logs will not be accepted. (Sorry, but students in another class have demonstrated that they cannot be trusted to write accurate time logs.) We will skip reading §14.2. Note: Even though only a few people had done the reading for Friday, and even though we did not discuss §14.1 on Friday, you can proceed if you read the hint sheet. I expect you to proceed, and I expect you to contact me by e-mail if you cannot make adequate progress.

W 4/14/04	HW due: Write #14.14, 14.15 a-d only, 14.18.
Th 4/15/04	Quiz on Chapter 14. After quiz: Review of Chapters 13 and 14. Bring your questions!
F 4/16/04	No class today (Diversity Day).
M 4/19/04	CFU Test on Chapters 13 and 14. Please study the solution key carefully.
T 4/20/04	Real Test (version 1) on Chapters 13 and 14. A solution key for this one is also available.
W 4/21/04	Real Test (version 2) on Chapters 13 and 14. Attendance is optional, but today’s test cannot be made up. The higher of the two scores will count.
Th 4/22/04	AP Quiz.
F 4/23/04	Another AP Quiz. HW due: Mark up your AP formula sheet or a photocopy of it. Use your class notes as a guide.
M 4/26/04	No school (FBK Day).
T 4/27/04	Another AP Quiz, plus in-class rating of problems on an E/M/H scale (easy, medium, or hard).
W 4/28/04	Another AP Quiz. HW due: Problems 3-37 from the handout. Check answer key with the Barron’s book. Pay special attention to how your scores vary for problems that you rated “easy,” “medium,” or “hard.”
Th 4/29/04	Another AP Quiz. You may find the 2003 free-response questions that we looked at yesterday to be a useful study resource (hint, hint). A solution key is also available. HW due: Finish reading through the AP exam hints on pp. 472-474 of the Barron’s book. Reading notes are required, as always. (They can be brief.) See if you can find the error in #45.
F 4/30/04	Another AP Quiz. Hint: Your Must-Pass Quiz also makes a good study guide.
