F 11/1/02	No school.
M 11/4/02	HW due: Read §§4.5 and 4.6; write §4.5 #1, 2, §4.6 #1, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13. Note: We are skipping the problems in §4.4 for the moment.
T 11/5/02	No additional HW due today, but make sure you are fully caught up.
W 11/6/02	HW due: §4.4 #1, 10-13 all. Remember that you cannot use the "PBT" abbreviation until you have passed the mastery quiz. In class: Mastery quiz (ungraded) on PBT, plus Sketchpad Lab III.
Th 11/7/02	HW due by 3:00 p.m.: Sketchpad Lab III. We will have only about 15 minutes in class to work on this, so plan on spending time before or after school doing this. There is no additional HW assignment due today. In class: Re-try the PBT Mastery Quiz.
F 11/8/02	HW due: Pages 206-209, review problems #1 [blanks only], 2, 5-9 all, 13, 17.
M 11/11/02	HW due: Finish the review problems that were due on Friday. The correct page numbers are 206-209. In class: Distribution of Sketchpad Lab IV, which we will work on in class tomorrow. You will need to spend some time outside of class as well, either today or tomorrow.
T 11/12/02	HW due by 3:30 p.m.: Sketchpad Lab IV. Although we will spend most of the class period working on this, you will need to spend some time outside class in order to finish on time. Be prepared to turn in your review problems that were due on Friday, 11/8.
W 11/13/02	HW due: §5.1 #2, 3, 9.
Th 11/14/02	HW due: §5.2 #1-5 all (oral preparation OK); write #9, 11, 13.
F 11/15/02	HW due: §5.2 #6, 14-19 all, 22, 23. Please also read the first two paragraphs on a Web page that proves the square root of 2 is irrational, and read the entire Web page that proves there is no largest prime number. In class: Review for test.
M 11/18/02	Test on Chapter 4 plus §§5.1, 5.2. Solutions to the most recent problem set are available to help you study. If you have any questions, please contact me by e-mail or voice mail before 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, 11/17.
T 11/19/02	No HW due today. If you have time, please start reading in §5.3 and beyond.
W 11/20/02	HW due today: §5.3 #7-13 odd. In class: Geometry Jeopardy Bingo!

M 11/25/02	HW due: §5.5 #4-7 all, 11, 12. Also answer the brain teaser posed in class: How many diagonals does a convex n-gon have?
T 11/26/02	HW due: §5.6 #1, 5, 8, 10-12 all, 19. Also, fill out at least 30 additional squares in your Polygon Feature Chart. In class: "Bridges" Video Happy Quiz. If you have an excused absence for today, you may earn extra credit by watching the video in the AV room (on your own time) and answering all of the questions.
