HW due: Work on your practice midterm over the break. You may work the problems in sequence, or you may "pick and choose" problems that look challenging. I will not grade your work, but I will keep a record of who has done work over the break and who has not. The results may appear in your half-sheet comments. I strongly suggest that everyone do at least some work, since midterms are only a week away!

Free dress is in effect for the entire week. The announcement Dr. Piazza made at lunch on Fri. 1/11 was rescinded in the afternoon at the faculty meeting. You may tell your friends that they do not have to wear coat and tie (unless, of course, they wish to!).

BRING: Pencils, calculator, straightedge.
DO NOT BRING: Scratch paper, graph paper. (Paper will be provided to you. Graphing grids, if needed, will be printed on the exam itself.)

Note: Sharing calculators with other students is not permitted and will be treated as an honor offense.

HW due today: §9.3 #3, 9, 10, 11, 16, 18, 21. Also finish any of the §9.2 problems (#1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12) that you were not able to finish earlier or in class Friday. Because we didn't have time to go over the CFU problems on Friday, be sure to bring those in for checking, too.
