Since many people apparently were not able to reach this page in time, I extended the due date once again to Friday.Since we are not having class Friday, I now need to ask you to attempt the §1.7 problems (see below) on your own. Test on Chapter 1. As you prepare for the test, you may find the answer key to §§1.7, 1.8, 1.9, review problems, and practice test to be helpful.

HW due: Read §2.1 and attempt problems #3, 5, 6*, 9*, 10, 11, 14*, 15. I will be in Math Lab Monday after chapel. If you did not come to Monday's Math Lab for at least a while, I will expect to see your §2.1 HW finished.

* For #6, write a formal, 2-column proof consisting of at least 3 steps. For #9, write a paragraph with complete sentences. For #14, show all the steps of the algebraic work.

Because of the difficulty in finishing up Sketchpad Lab I in the time provided, I will accept your report without penalty until 3:00 p.m. Monday. I have to leave at noon today for a funeral.
